LOCKHEED MARTIN F-22 STEALTH FIGHTER CANOPY AND TOOLING
MTCcorp was contracted to manufacture the canopy tooling for the supersonic all-weather stealth F-22 Raptor aircraft fighter. The fifth-generation fighter's combination of stealth, aerodynamic performance, and mission systems enabled a leap in air combat capabilities and set the benchmark for its generation. One of the main key features of the aircraft is its low radar detection made possible by minimizing the radar cross-section (RCS).
MTCcorp’s aerospace project for the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor involved CNC tooling for the aircraft’s canopy, a critical component for the stealth plane that aids in aerodynamics, pilot protection & visibility, and structural integrity. Utilizing MTCcorp’s specialized aerospace machine shop and its highly skilled team, MTCcorp delivered on-time the aircraft canopy tooling to exact aerospace specifications and tolerance.
