MTCcorp produced the tooling of the cockpit side window for the joint experimental NASA and Lockheed Martin X-59 Quesst plane aimed to minimize the disruptive sonic booms associated with supersonic travel. By reducing the intensity of these sonic booms, the X-59 aims to make supersonic flight over land more acceptable and potentially pave the way for the development of commercial supersonic airline.
