As with satallite structural panels, custom honeycomb aluminum panels are widely used in aerospace and satellite applications due to their high strength-to-weight ratio, stiffness, and thermal stability. These panels consist of an aluminum honeycomb core sandwiched between two aluminum (or composite) face sheets, offering excellent structural performance.
